BreakingPoint 8.40.2 release introduces the ability to deliver ATI Daily Malware Update directly from within the BreakingPoint Administration page leveraging the Cloud update Service. Users can review the changelog and decide whether to install the Malware packages. Please review the User Guide and Release Notes for details.
Note: BreakingPoint on Windows IxOS, BreakingPoint-VE, FireStorm and Storm platforms are not supported in this release.
Native IxOS users, please make sure to upgrade IxOS8.40EAPatch2 and then install this BPS 8.40.2 update.
Please backup your current system before updating to BreakingPoint 8.40.2 software.
Note: After upgrading to this BPS 8.40.2 version, reverting to earlier BPS versions (for example, BPS 8.30) is a non-trivial task. If you need to revert to an earlier BPS version, please contact Customer Support for guidance.
For BreakingPoint Virtual Edition (VE) and BreakingPoint on AWS, please refer to the link BreakingPoint Virtual Edition (VE). Please Note, BreakingPoint-VE is not supported in BreakingPoint 8.40.2 Release. You are recommended to stay with the same BreakingPoint-VE version as you have been using.
