IxANVL - 10.00

IxANVL 10.00 release includes Infrastructure changes and Enhancements to existing suites and Bug fixes since the previous release. 

The following is a brief description of Infrastructure changes:

      1. ILU 5.70 is integrated with IxANVL 

The following is a brief description of Test Suites Enhancements:

      1. EthernetCFM - Test Case 17.2 - CCM Interval is changed to 10 second

      2. MPLS - Test Cases 1.3 1.6 1.8 1.11 2.1 2.3 2.4 2.8 2.9 4.1 4.2 5.1 5.4 5.5 5.6 5.7 9.2 9.3 9.4 are updated to take the Label from Label Mapping Message and send IP Packet with that MPLS Label

      3. TC8-AUTO-ETH-L2 - Test Case 2.2 is updated such that the Traffic Rate can be set from the config 'DUT PORT BANDWIDTH' and Traffic frame length is taken from parameter 'TC8L2 Frame Size' 

      4. TC8-AUTO-ETH-L2 - Test Case 3.3 is updated such that tagged/untagged frame count is taken from "IEEE Number of Unused MAC Address" configuration entry

      5. TC8-AUTO-ETH-L2 - Test Case 3.5 - Added checking of configuration entry "VLAN Port Tagged" before sending of VLAN Tagged frame

NOTE: When you are using one or more of the applications below on a single chassis configuration, please use the correct application versions so they align to a common version of IxOS.

NOTE: IxANVL supports the US English versions of the Windows OS. Although, IxANVL may run on other versions of  Windows OS, they are not officially supported by Ixia. If you attempt to install or run IxANVL on any version of Windows OS other than the U.S. English versions, the IxANVL installation or operation may fail.

Important Note: Java has a known caveat that requires an extra rpm file, xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.2-31.i386.rpm, that sometimes is not installed by default on an RHE 5.0 machine. As the IxANVL installer is a Java-based application, it is required that this file be installed in order to function normally. Please refer to the Linux installation notes below for a workaround to fix this problem.
