IxANVL Release 7.20 SP1 Overview

IxANVL 7.20 SP1 is intended for use in production test environments.

What's New in IxANVL 7.20 SP1 Release

  • New test suites are introduced in this release to cover conformance testing for various protocols. These are: UDP conformance test suite, PIM-SMv6 conformance test suite, HTTP server conformance test suite, and GRE conformance test suite.
  • Existing IPv6 Advanced Test Suite has been enhanced to include Generic Packet Tunneling with additional test cases per RFC 2473
  • Existing BGP core conformance test suite is updated to the latest RFC 4271 and existing BGP plus conformance test suite is updated to the latest draft-ietf-idr-rfc2858bis-09.
  • Existing IPV6oV4 conformance test suite is enhanced to include anycast prefix for 6-to-4 relay routers per RFC 3068. The test suite is also updated with new standard per RFC 4213.
  • VNIC software is now an integral part of IxANVL framework for window's environment. No longer would a user need to install and operate the VNIC software separately. For Linux environment, VNIC still operates as is, i.e. in standalone mode.
  • MPLS and RSVPTE conformance test suites now supports non directly connected end points for egress topology.
