Keysight BreakingPoint - 11.00
BreakingPoint 11.00 introduces architectural changes by switching to Debian 12 GuestOS, integrating BreakingPoint QuickTest along with classic BreakingPoint on XGS2/12-HSL chassis and PerfectStorm-ONE appliance, multiple Virtual Edition features and enhancements. For details, please consult the Release Notes document included with this release.
Notes:
Systems that are being upgraded to BreakingPoint 11.00 MUST be upgraded to IxOS/KCOS 11.0 as a pre-requirement. This upgrade implements major infrastructure changes, and some data will not be automatically migrated in this process. Please consult IxOS documentation page for all the changes brought with this version.
Please backup your current Results and Tests databases before updating to BreakingPoint 11.00 software, they will not be automatically migrated and need to be restored manually.
Please download and install the latest ATI packages to ensure your applications and security definitions are up to date.
Installation of an IPSec software package is required to run IPSec test scenarios with BreakingPoint. This IPSec software package is available for download in the Third Party Software section below.
Native IxOS users, please make sure to upgrade to IxOS 11.00 and then install this BreakingPoint 11.00 release. IxOS 11.00 needs to be installed on top of IxOS 10.0 Patch3 or IxOS 10.70, upgrade over older versions is not supported.
ATI Licenses will not be transfered automatically - they can be retrieved from the chassis after the upgrade via SCP using user "admin".
APS-100/400GE Series platform users, please make sure to upgrade to KCOS 11.00 (Keysight Cluster Operating System) and then install this BreakingPoint 11.00 release. KCOS 11.00 needs to be installed on top of KCOS 9.30 or later versions.
